Description: This training is intended to enable currently certified DREs to instruct the IACP Drug Evaluation and Classification curriculum. Students for this 2-day school must already be certified to instruct the NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Proficiency in the SFSTs will be evaluated at the beginning of the school through both written and practical exercises. DREs interested in attending this Instructor Development School must notify the Maryland State DRE Coordinator, Mr. Tom Woodward by email at thomas.woodward@maryland.gov or have their agency DRE Coordinator do so.
